482. Victorian Coal Scuttle Antique metal storage bin features two carrying handles and an oval lid. Entire container is painted black. Sides are gadrooned and decorated, lid flips down. Has a larger hinged handle on back, perhaps to aid with the tipping of the scuttle so as to allow the coal to fall into the fire. Smaller bin fits exactly inside.
